Open House Da Vinci Center for Gifted Children

We wish to invite you to our Open House on Saturday February 11th from 10 am to 3 pm.  We are currently enrolling for the 2012/2013 school year.  Come meet our incredible education team, tour our facility, join us for a free lunch, borrow from our free parent library and bring your kids to enjoy our Valentine's activities for all ages.

We are excited to announce that as we move into our third year and expand our services and programs, the Co-op for Gifted Children will now be called Da Vinci Center for Gifted Children!  We are still at 1202 Lincoln Avenue in Alameda.  If you read the characteristics of gifted children below and see your own child in those traits and behaviors, come and see us.  Gifted children need a unique environment with multiage peers, strong social-emotional support and freedom to work at their own developmental levels.    We are a small research based school catering specifically to profoundly and exceptionally gifted children.  There are only five children for every certificated teacher so children receive highly individualized attention and engage in hands-on experiential learning.  We serve children 16 months to 14 years of age.      Our new preshool program began in January, and we will have information about our summer program ready at the Open House.  Please RSVP to ourgiftedchildren@yahoo.com to let us know how many people will be attending and if you have any food allergies or special diet requests.    We look forward to meeting you and your gifted child!

Sincerely,
