Books Inc., collaborating with Alameda resident Mary MacPherson, present a new speaker series, Parents Partner for School Success. The series is aimed at parents who want to help their children succeed in school.
The first talk in the series is called Organization and Planning and will provide tips and advice on keeping up with classes and assignments so that the homework battles will subside.
The talk will be given by Lisa Miller, director of the tutoring center Classroom Matters.
