Seed Saving Class: Super Easy Plants

Come to the Main Library on Saturday, August 6, from 2  to 4 p.m., for a Seed Saving Class: Super Easy Plants. Join Rebecca Newburn of Richmond Grows Seed Lending Library for an afternoon of seed saving basics including some hands-on practice.

No previous seed saving experience needed. Learn the basic vocabulary of seed saving and how to save seeds from the sunflower, pea, and nightshade families. Participants will also learn how to return seeds "borrowed" from local seed lending libraries to help create a sustainable community and seed library.

Everyone is welcome at this free program, which will be held at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street.  For more information, please call 510-747-7713.
