The Duelist League is a great way for kids, 14 and under, who want to play in a tournament to have a great time. With an entry fee of $5, everyone who enters gets an entry pack and at the end of the event, everyone who plays gets to pick from a set of special limited edition Duelist League cards. The kids who win first get to pick first, but everyone gets a pick.
Duelists are given 3 “prize” tickets, and when they win a match (2 out of 3 games with another Duelist) they get one of their opponent’s prize tickets. When a player gets 5 tickets, they get to come up and pick their bonus card. At the end of the event (usually about 2 hours), everyone who didn’t get to 5 tickets comes up and gets to pick in the order of the number of tickets they have left. This is designed so everyone can have a good time and no one goes away empty handed.
