FAAS Offers Free Pet Adoptions

Come find a new furry friend at Clear the Shelter event Feb. 28-March 4

Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) is offering free pet adoptions during its Clear the Shelter event Feb. 28 - March 4. The event is being sponsored by the Alameda Support Foundation (asfcharity.org); for every pet adopted, ASF will donate $125 to FAAS.

FAAS has dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and roosters available for adoption. Adoptions will help clear the shelter for incoming homeless pets and raise money for FAAS, a not-for-profit organization.

All adoptions include any necessary vaccinations and one free vet visit. Dogs, cats and rabbits are microchipped.
