Flooding Closes Alameda Road

ALAMEDA, CA — Harbor Bay Parkway in Alameda is closed between Maitland and Doolittle because of flooding.

The City of Alameda , which issued a traffic advisory, has no estimate of when the road will reopen.

Also, The CHP reports two feet of water on I-980, just east of I-880.

Rain is expected to continue this morning, with a flood advisory from the National Weather Service in effect until 10:15 a.m.
