OAKLAND, CA — A new small-format Target store will open in Oakland on Sunday. The grand opening will begin at 8 a.m. The in-store celebration will include complimentary reusable bags for the first 1,000 guests.

The store will offer a curated assortment of clothes and accessories for the whole family, home decor and essentials, personal care and beauty products and a grocery selection including fresh produce and grab-and-go items, snacks and meal solutions.

The store is located at 2650 Broadway, near Lake Merritt. It hired about 100 employees to staff the store.
