Friends Of The Alameda Free Library Host Used Book Sale
The sale will run through May 16, with a special offer for teachers.
ALAMEDA, CA — For the next few days, book lovers can cash in on a special deal thanks to the Friends of the Alameda Free Library.
The Friends of the Alameda Free Library, a nonprofit, is hosting a used book sale from Wednesday through Saturday at the Alameda Main Library, located at 1550 Oak St.
The event opens from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be $5 teacher bags on Wednesday.

From Thursday through Saturday, the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those $5 bags will be made available to all shoppers on Saturday.
A previously used book sale by the nonprofit in October had more than 10,000 books available for purchase.

The Friends of the Alameda Free Library was started in 1974, offering support to the Alameda Main Library and other programs through volunteer work and fundraising, according to its website.
