Golden Eggs

Last week, my friend Sheila helped cleared out my garden and hauled away some of my over grown succulents. Plus I took some to the Plant Exchange. Now I have a patch of land to plant vegetables on. To get back to the golden eggs - Sheila gave me a dozen fresh eggs from her home-raised hens! They were delicious, certainly do not taste or look like your grocery store eggs. They have these golden yolk that are just gorgeous. 

Last time I had fresh eggs was when I was little at my grandfather's house in Hong Kong. He raised chicken, and grew vegetables in his yard. Sometimes, he had maybe a hundred of little fuzzy yellow chicks running around, very very cute. I don't know if he bought them to raise or sell them to others. Wish I have a farm on acres of land so that I could raise animals, and grow vegetables. Wouldn't that be fun? Oh well, I don't think that is going to happen. Just dreaming.
