Gorgeous

Been out of town for a couple of weeks and came home to record heat. If you have not been to Niagara Falls, it is worth a trip. Spectacular! 

Some of my plants have suffered with leaves burnt to a crisp. However, as you can see from these photos, these Orchid Cactus are happy and showing off their gorgeous blooms. Never have I seen so many blooms on them before.  My lettuces have also survived, so mixed-green salad has been on my dinner menu every day. Tomato is doing well and getting ready to produce. Green bean has some damages to their leaves, but I think they will bounce back if weather cools a little. 

There is the Annual Plant Swap at the Forbidden Island this Sunday, but unfortunately I won't be able to go. Have to hold a house open. Life of a Realtor is unpredictable.
