High Street Bridge to Be Closed Friday

ALAMEDA, CA - The Alameda County Public Works Agency will be performing emergency repairs to the High Street Bridge on Friday, December 18. During these repairs, the High Street Bridge will be CLOSED to all vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There will also be some limitations to marine traffic. The US Coast Guard will communicate this information in its weekly “Coast Guard Local Notices to Mariners.”

Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the bridge closure. When travelling through the detour areas, motorists are advised to exercise caution and adhere to all traffic regulations.
