Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town Came Close But Didn't Win in 'The Sing Off'

Andrew Lockwood, AUSD employee, still the talk of our town.

Disappointingly for Andrew Lockwood, 's head custodian, his a cappella singing group, Jerry Larson & Talk of the Town was one of the first two groups off the stage in the finale episode of The Sing Off which aired live on Monday, Dec. 20.

The winner was chosen by popular vote through telephone, web-site voting and texting.

Up , the panel of three judges determined which groups continued in the competition.

On Dec. 15, after a crowd-pleasing Otis Redding medley and a gut-wrenching rendition of the "House of the Rising Sun," which brought the audience to its feet,  Jerry Larson & Talk of the Town advanced to the final four.
