Although the practice of yoga can’t guarantee pregnancy, it can provide an immense physical and emotional support through the journey to becoming a parent. Embarking on the path to conception can often be very stressful and emotional, especially if you are facing difficulties. The practice of yoga allows us to reconnect with our bodies, breath and spirit and help open your heart to the family that you desire.
In this workshop, you will experience a complete practice, blending gentle Hatha flow, yin and restorative yoga. Poses will focus on increasing blood flow and energy to the reproductive organs, relaxing the mind and opening the heart. Mindfulness meditation, breath practices and guided imagery will also be used to help relax the mind and open the heart in preparation for baby.
This workshop is ideal for students thinking about conceiving or in the process of trying to conceive. It is also appropriate for students using IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). Partners are welcome to attend.
