Par-3 Youth Golf Series Every 2nd Sunday in Alameda

We’re running “fun” golf tournaments on the par three for the juniors this year to get the kids on the course more, meeting other juniors and to get more comfortable playing the game. This will start in March and through the year we’ll be doing this every second Sunday. We’ll pair the kids up by experience and we even have equipment for them to use if they don’t have equipment. It’s $10 for the green fee and if they’re Youth on Course members (scroll to bottom of this link’s page to download application) it is only a dollar!

We’ll also be holding tryouts for our Alameda junior team in Spring. This is for juniors 13 or younger and we’ll be competing against other golf course teams in the Summer. Check out PGA Junior League.

And then we have a more comprehensive coaching program for kids than we’ve ever had. Beginning with Mommy and Me classes (juniors 4-6 years old that train with mom and their coach). Most of instruction is based on the US Kids Golf system and then we’ll also have a progressive system that takes the juniors into more and more advanced level programs including a girls only and teen groups.
