Free tests will be offered at the site through Saturday.

ALAMEDA, CA — A pop‐up coronavirus testing site is open in Alameda. Testing began on Wednesday and will continue through Saturday. Penumbra, a medical devices manufacturer headquartered in Alameda, has made their west side parking lot off Road A near 1401 Harbor Bay Parkway available for the test site.

"I'm happy to announce that Alameda County is working with a highly regarded vendor and lab to bring free and accessible COVID‐19 testing to Alameda this week," said Alameda Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft. "I'm grateful to County and City staff, and especially to Penumbra who has graciously allowed their Harbor Bay Business Park campus to be used."

“Penumbra is pleased to support the County and City in its effort to offer more COVID‐19 testing. We are proud to be a member of the Alameda community and to host the testing site on our campus,” said Adam Elsesser, Penumbra Co‐Founder and CEO.
