Posey Tube Reopens To Traffic
After several days of misery, including one work commute day, the Posey Tube is flowing freely.
ALAMEDA, CA — The City of Oakland expedited repairs to the storm drain and roadway that forced the closure of the Posey Tube.
Result: the Posey Tube leaving Alameda will be completely open for the Tuesday morning commute.
Previously, Oakland had warned drivers that the Posey Tube could be impacted all week - and that was not taking into consideration 3 days of rain from Tuesday through Thursday. But, moot point.
