Posey, Webster Tube Closures Planned

ALAMEDA, CA — If you have nocturnal habits, a plan to close the Posey and Webster tubes may impact your driving habits.

Caltrans needs to close the tubes to inspect fire extinguishers. They will be closed one at a time, one right after the other. Here's the schedule:

• Monday, Dec. 16: The Webster Tube entering Alameda will be closed from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 17: The Posey Tube leaving Alameda will be closed from 2:30-4:30 a.m.
