Power Outage Planned By AMP
A large swath of Alameda and all of Bay Farm are expected to be impacted.

ALAMEDA, CA — When you wake up Friday morning, your clocks may be blinking.
Alameda Municipal Power plans to shut off the electricity overnight in the area of Clement, Buena Vista and Lincoln. Also, all customers from Sherman Street through east Alameda, including Bay Farm Island, may be without power.
The outage is expected to be quick - up to five minutes. It is expected to start at 3 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5.
