'Sad' Alameda Memorial: Photo

This simple but effective memorial is for the children and teachers killed in last month's shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

ALAMEDA, CA — Following the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas last month, Jeff Cambra snapped this photo.

"I am incredibly sad to be sending in this image," Cambra told Patch, "but perhaps this loss will make people think.

"This is the front entrance to the Twin Towers Methodist Church in Alameda. There are 19 chairs with the name and age of each child that was killed.

"There are two chairs, one at each end of the landing, that represent the two teachers that were killed."
