School District Offers Free Lunches to Kids This Summer

In a dramatic expansion of services, Alameda Unified School District is now offering free summer lunches to youth in Alameda at seven sites across the island for the entire summer. The expansion follows a year of reforms initiated and implemented by the district’s Food & Nutrition Services Department.
