Simple, Comfortable "Do-Anywhere" Ab Exercise

Having strong abdominal muscles is a great way to stabilize your back, look taller and feel more confident!

Many people think exercises intended to strengthen our abdominal muscles need to be on the floor, and in large numbers. For individuals who have a hard time getting on and off the floor or who suffer from back or neck pain, traditional "ab" exercises can be difficult to do safely.

This simple, comfortable move can be done while sitting upright from any type of chair, a bench or the corner of a bed.

This is the Do Anywhere Ab Exercise:

1. Bring your belly button closer to your spine.

2. Lean back slightly until you feel your ab and back muscles working.

3. Keep your neck and shoulders relaxed.

4. Breathe deeply and slowly 10 times.

It takes practice to learn to do all these things at once! The further back you lean the more challenging this move will be. If you feel any discomfort, do not lean back quite as far.

You should feel your abs become “active” immediately and stronger over time.
Please let me know if you have any this move and have questions or comments.
