Stolen Alcohol Recovered By Alameda Police

The alcohol was stolen from Safeway.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police recovered several bottles of stolen alcohol last weekend and arrested one suspect.

According to police, a car was stopped at High Street and Otis Drive for failing to display license plates on both bumpers.

Officer Larsen noticed several alcohol bottles in the vehicle. The Safeway at Southshore Center had just experienced a theft.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of theft, a probation violation, a felony warrant, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
