Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) adopted out 54 dogs, cats, and kittens this past weekend as part of the Maddies Pet Adoption Days. We have never adopted out so many animals so quickly! For every animal adopted, Maddie's Fund gives a grant ranging from $500 to $2000. We don't have the total amount being awarded to us yet, but every dollar will be used to help more animals get adopted. This past weekend was a true win-win for Alameda's homeless pets!
