Summer Reading a Success at Alameda Free Library
The Alameda Free Library's Summer Reading Program was a huge success! Without our community partners, none of it would have been possible.

Thank you, Alameda! The Alameda Free Library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program was a huge hit. With over 3,300 kids, teens, and adults participating in the Read to the Rhythm program, this was a very busy summer for Alameda readers!
We couldn’t have had this level of success without the help of our amazing sponsors. Many thanks for the generosity of the Friends of the Alameda Free Library. We wouldn’t have special programming at the library at all without their help and financial support.
Thanks also to the local Alameda businesses that made many of our prizes possible: Tucker’s Super-Creamed Ice Cream, Subpar Miniature Golf, and Wescafe.

We’d also like to thank the San Francisco Bay Ferry, the Oakland Athletics, Alameda Island Brewing Company, American Oak, The Beanery, and the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department. By providing prizes and offering programming space, all of these businesses and organizations provide the incentive many people need to keep reading, learning, and growing all summer long.
Sincerely,
