Taking Fear out of Assisted Living - The Lodge Offers Trial Stay
AEC Living's The Lodge in Alameda Takes Fear Out of Assisted Living by Offer Trial Stay
Moving your parents into a senior living facility is never easy. One local company is helping to ease that decision by offering loved ones a unique “try-it” stay opportunity. AEC Living’s The Lodge on the waterfront in Alameda realizes that the holiday season is time when all family members come together to celebrate, it also tends to be the time when family members can talk about options for the next step in care for their aging family members and see if assisted living is a good option.
Through January 31st, The Lodge is offering seniors the opportunity to move in, stay up to three months in a fully furnished room, and move out without a long-term commitment. This means that seniors know they are moving in with a move out date in site—no pressure at all. The goal of the program is to help seniors live close to their loved ones during the holiday season and experience what it’s like to be part of The Lodge community without the pressure to stay and families get to answer the question about whether assisted living is the right answer.
AEC is offering informational interviews to those interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss why trying a senior living situation without a long-term commitment is a good way to make a transition like this. Contact AEC at 510-748-4300.
