Hello Alamedians,
I just had to share with you the experience I had with a few of our fellow neighbors.
Sunday morning I was standing in line at a local coffee shop when this women rode up on her bike reached into her side cart and retrieved a mason jar 3/4 full of coffee and came into the coffee shop. She saw someone she knew had a few words then proceed to tell them she ran out of half and half at home as was here to get a little for her coffee!!! Does she not realize that this is a small business and the owner makes his money selling coffee NOT giving out free half and half. Unbelivable!

Later on that day I was walking to a friends. As I approched the last block I see this guy walking towards me with 2 little girls. He peals an orange hands the inside to his first daughter and THROWS the peel in the grass along the street! He doesn’t stop there he takes out another and does the same for the other little girl. I stop in front of him and say “hey you are throwing your trash on my lawn” his response was “it is Green not trash”. Well I said “ how would you like it if everybody threw their green waste in your yard” His response was “That it would be fine because its just like the leaves that off of trees!!!
What is happening here in Alameda? I thought I was living with people who where not so self-righteous and cared about our community.
