Wire Crochet Necklace/Bracelet Class on May 17, 2015
Learn to crochet with wire to make unique designs you'll be eager to show off!
Crocheting with wire sounds pretty straight forward, but it is different than crocheting with yarn or thread. Manipulating wire requires a deeper knowledge of metal & and it’s properties; such as what type is appropriate to work with, purchase and wear. Topics also include how to handle wire so that it doesn’t break, creating a closed design, integrating a clasp into the design and how to use color and embellishment to express your creativity.
Necessary tools and materials:
- 28g wire
- Assorted beads
- Crochet hook, size F or bigger (please bring your own)
Materials are available in the class. Choosing your materials and designing your jewelry is part of the class. Materials for your project are not included in the class fee. You may choose from our large selection or bring your own. At the end of class you will pay for the materials you used for your project. All necessary tools will be provided in the class by the instructor.

Class fee is $35 and the class runs from 1-3:30pm on May 17, 2015. Students must register in advanced online, in person, or on the phone at (510) 337-1203. Students receive a 10% in store discount for 4 weeks prior to 2 weeks after their class.
