ABOUT PRESCOTT CIRCUS THEATRE: Now in its 41st year, the Prescott Circus Theatre (PCT) is a nationally recognized performing arts education program for Oakland youth. PCT offers safe environments that challenge Oakland youth, through circus arts training, to live the core principles of hard work, teamwork, practice, belief in self. Programs promote the skills and self-confidence children need to thrive on stage and in life. Programs consist of free afterschool, weekend and summer programs for over 250 Oakland youth each year. Performing Company members from Prescott, where the program began, perform and make appearances at over 50 Bay Area events each year.

<h3>Morning Academics: A Head Start for Fall</h3>
Each morning, students focus on math and English Language Arts with instruction designed to preview the next grade level. Our goal is to reinforce essential skills, introduce new concepts, and help students enter the fall confident and prepared.
Elementary (1st–5th Grade) students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and math foundations through direct instruction, discussion, and hands-on learning.
Middle School (6th–8th Grade) students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through focused math and language arts courses that deepen understanding and prepare them for the academic challenges ahead.
<h3>Afternoon Camps: Learn, Create, Compete</h3>
Afternoons are filled with engaging experiences that keep students active and inspired.
Elementary students rotate through a variety of camps including STEM challenges, creative arts, literacy exploration, and team games.
