100 Days until Albany Relay for Life

Cancer has this terrible way of touching all of our lives. Some of us are survivors, some of us have lost important people, some of us know people who have lost people, but nearly everyone knows that we need to stop it.

Relay for Life is American Cancer Society's main fundraising event with over 6,000 events and 41 million participants world wide! On August 20th we will gather at the Albany High School Gym [location tentative] at 10 am and celebrate life by walking continuously with our teams for 12 hours. This is not a running event, and it is not a physical competition, but we reach out to our communities and our families and friends to help us raise funds for the services and research that ACS performs and provides. And we do it because 'cancer never sleeps.'
