ACC Mavericks Soccer Club Tryouts Starting January 20th

The Mavericks Soccer Club is the “Select” soccer program of the Alameda-Contra Costa Youth Soccer League (ACCYSL) offering players the opportunity to play soccer competitively from Silver to National Premier League levels. Mavericks is considered one of the top competitive soccer clubs in the Bay Area offering NPL competition to youth soccer players.

Parent Information Meeting

The Club will host a Parent Information Meeting on Thursday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the “Blue Barn” located at the Harrison & 4th Streets- Berkeley. Parents will receive an overview of the Club’s philosophy, programs and coaching perspectives. Coaches and Board members will be on hand to answer all of your questions about the Club and competitive soccer.

A pre-Tryout Clinic for U9 to U12 Boys (noon to 1:30 pm) and Girls (1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.) will be held Saturday January 17 at Gilman North Turf area.

The Club offers:

Player Development First - Each ACC Mavericks player develops their skills during practices, tournaments, clinics, Norcal/US Club league games, and US Club State Cup games.

Professional Coaches - The club is known for its skilled and dedicated coaches. Most have high level coaching licenses and have coaching/playing experience in the Collegiate and Professional ranks. Each coach is evaluated by Roberty Sackey, the club’s A-licensed Technical Director, to ensure player development is maintained.

Engaging Programs and Clinics - The Club offers skill-based clinics throughout the year. Programs include Goalkeeper clinics, Striker clinics, Skills/Footwork clinics, and Youth Academies.
