The following provides a summary of actions taken by the City Council as part of the special and regular meetings on October 7, 2019:

Proclamation - Fire Prevention Week: the Council presented Fire Prevention Week proclamation to Albany Fire Department.

Recognition - Albany Local Week Winners: Albany Recreation Department announced the winners of Albany Local Week and presented the Albany Uber Trophy to Lindsey Burbage and Ulysses McIntyre.

Recognition - Audio/Visual Apprentices: Albany Recreation Department presented Certificate of Recognition to Audio/Visual Apprentices (Andrew, Ben, Julian, Nathan, Seamus).

Update to Capital Improvement Plan FY 2017/2018 - FY 2021/2022: the Council received a presentation on the update on the Capital Improvement Plan on the various community projects planned and completed and provided feedback on project demands based on funding and prioritization.

Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Draft: the Council provided feedback and gave direction regarding the draft Climate Action and Adaptation Plan for incorporation into the final Plan.

The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019, 7:30 PM.
