The Albany Education Foundation will host its annual Barnes & Noble shopping day on Saturday, December 7th. Shop at the El Cerrito Plaza store between 9 AM and 9 PM and tell the cashier that you want your purchase to benefit the Albany Education Foundation, and portion will be donated to AEF for purchase of books requested by school sites.
Friendly students from Albany Middle School and Albany High will be on hand to provide free gift wrapping of any holiday purchases.
Teachers and school site librarians have provided " Wish Lists" of books they would like to receive. While you complete your own shopping, consider purchase of a book requested by a teacher or librarian.
