Albany Middle School Teacher, Principal Accept Award

ALBANY, CA — A special ceremony was held in Washington, D.C. to honor the 2017 National Blue Ribbon Schools.

Albany Middle School Principal Deborah Brill and Teacher Jen Morris represented Albany Middle School, named an Exemplary High Performing School for making notable improvements in closing the achievement gap.

They received a plaque and flag to be displayed at the school as symbols of the honor.

According to Albany Unified School District, "The award recognizes Albany Middle School students, staff, and parents for their commitment to excellence in education for all AUSD students."
