Ready for Basketball?

The Albany Police Activities League (APAL) is starting a new basketball program for middle school boys and girls. Coached by Albany Police Officer (and former AHS basketball player) Danny Ho, this program is for kids who want to learn more about the game and improve their skills from beginners to more advanced players. Emphasis will be on technique and strategy with lots of fun drills and intersquad games.

Practice will be held every other Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 in the Albany Middle School gym beginning on November 8. Specific dates are listed on the APAL web site, www.albanypal.net. All participants must be complete an APAL registration form and pay the $40.00 registration fee. You may download a form from our web site Completed forms and payment must be submitted at your first practice.

Basketball players should wear shorts or sweats and rubber soled shoes and bring a water bottle to every practice.
