ALBANY, CA — National Night Out was held last week and the Albany residents got into the spirit of community. The Albany Police department has released this message through social media:
"This year the Albany Police Department was thrilled to have 34 blocks register to have a National Night Out block party, and these included over 1500 participants from young to old. With the help of other city staff and supporters, we visited each of these blocks and were warmly greeted by all. Our officers enjoyed good conversation, answered many great questions and had some tasty food as well. Thank you, Albany, for being such a great community to serve."
