Albany Relay Has Upcoming Kick Off

A Relay For Life Kick-Off is our way of officially starting a new Relay season and preparing for the event!

Maybe you've heard of the Relay movement but have never been able to get involved; maybe you love Relay but didn't know it existed in your own community; maybe you're new to the area or maybe you and your loved ones have a new connection to cancer...whatever your story may be we would love for you to come by, get to know us, and get involved!

Come learn more about the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and our event, which will be on August 20th. Meet your local Event Leadership Team, listen to the moving words of a Hero of Hope speaker (cancer survivors and caregivers) and find out what you can do to help and get involved.

This event is completely free and open to everyone! You don't have to be an Albany resident to participate in Albany Relay. Adults and kids of all ages are welcome, caregivers, survivors, people who have no idea what Relay for Life is...bring them all! It's not a true community event without representation from all facets!

A big thank you to Albany Bowl for supporting us and hosting our event!! All are welcome and encouraged to support the Albany Bowl during or after our event by enjoying a meal or a round of bowling.
