Albany Tool Pool: Borrow Tools For Free

Tool cool! Use tools without having to purchase them.

ALBANY, CA — Did you try to tackle a big job at your house over the weekend, only to find that you really needed a special tool to complete the job? Or perhaps you struggled through to completion, by a special tool would have made things so much easier.

Good news! The Albany Recreation and Community Services Department maintains a tool lending library called the Tool Pool.

Tools include basic stuff such as shovels, rakes and hammers. But before you order an orbital sander or power drill, check to see if one is available when you need it.
