Albany Unified Superintendent Thanks Community for Passing Measure LL

Measure LL: Parcel Tax passed by Albany voters.

Letter to Albany voters from Superintendent Valerie Williams:

On behalf of the students and staff of Albany Unified School District, I want to thank you the Albany community for its support. Yesterday, the Albany community voted to pass Measure LL, thus extending our parcel tax and ongoing funding for our schools.

This vote of confidence is a tremendous show of support for the wonderful work that takes place in our schools every day. Our dedicated staff and talented students will continue to benefit from the community’s support for our schools.

Please join me in thanking the Measure LL Committee, headed by Rebecca Long and Holly Taines-White, and numerous volunteers from across our community to whom we owe great thanks for their tireless efforts and steadfast determination; you made a tremendous difference for our kids!
