The following provides a summary of actions taken by the City Council as part of the special and regular meetings on October 21, 2019:
Albany Municipal Code Amendment Regarding Small Wireless Facilities: the Council deferred the item to next meeting due to late breaking comments received that needs to be considered and responded to prior to voting.

Lower Codornices Creek Restoration Phase IV Project: the Council accepted the phase IV plan for the Lower Codornices Creek Restoration Project with the condition that public safety entities from all 3 agencies (City of Albany, City of Berkeley, and UC Berkeley) are consulted and authorized staff to identify funding for project construction.
Social and Economic Justice Commission Request to Amend Work Plan and to Increase the Commission Membership: the Council approved the SEJC Work Plan amendment to include the implementation and organization of a housing forum and dorect SEJC to identify the exact scope of the forum and direct staff to identify the associated budget and funding source for the forum for review by the Council at a future meeting. The Council further direct SEJC to include a diverse selection of partners and interest groups for this forum. The request to increase the Commission membership did not pass.
Donation Acceptance Policy: the Council adopted the updated Donation Acceptance Policy and will form a Council subcommittee to consider whether additional changes to the policy are warranted.
The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019, 7:30 PM.
