From Tyrone Rose, Assistant Coach at Albany High: The Albany Middle School Girls wrestling team placed third at the Ninth Annual 2013 California Girls Middle School State Wrestling Championships held this past Saturday, April 13 at Hogan Middle School in Vallejo.   This is the largest girls wrestling tournament in the country with over 230 participants. AMS entered five wrestlers, all of which placed in the top five in their weight classes. <ul> <li>2nd place Lauren MacManes 74 lbs.</li> <li>2nd place Marissa Arechiga 126 lbs.</li> <li>4th place Tiffany Wong 95 lbs.</li> <li>5th place Marisol Fletcher 112 lbs.</li> <li>5th place Maria Krashna 175 lbs.</li> </ul>
