Another "uncanny" food drive at Saint Mary's
Students again prepare to donate thousands of pounds of food.
One of the important activities for the Saint Mary’s High community during Lent each year is the annual Lenten Food Drive in support of the Alameda County Community Food Bank. As the school readies for Easter and Easter vacation, the drive concludes on Holy Thursday, with thousands of pounds of canned and packaged foods in the many Food Bank collection bins. In addition, art students created beautifully decorated clay bowls to donate to families who are supported by the Food Bank.
