I really loved the Albany Patch back in the Emilie Raguso days. It seemed to me the ideal place to get and share information about our tiny town. As the articles declined in quality after she left, I stopped visiting the website but continued subscribing to the daily headlines in email, though I rarely read them. Today I had a Patch-perfect mission: get some info on the new restaurant for “rice triangles” that’s going to replace Sophia Cafe on Solano. But in Patch 3.0 there isn’t even a search box. (Apparently it’s a feature that’s coming?) So: where does everyone else go now?
