Berkeley Armed Robbery Victim Taken to Hospital
Two men robbed the victim near the UC Berkeley campus.

BERKELEY, CA — Police are looking for two men involved in an armed robbery Friday night near the University of California at Berkeley campus.
According to UC police, two suspects approached a man at 9:21 p.m. near the intersection of Carleton and Ellsworth streets and demanded his property before striking him with a pistol.
The suspects then took the victim's property and fled east on Derby Street toward Telegraph Avenue. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for his injuries.
The suspects were described as two black men between the ages of 18 and 20 with medium builds and height. One of the suspects was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and holding a handgun.
