A VO2 max test measures the body's maximum oxygen uptake, one of the strongest predictors of cardiovascular fitness and long-term health. A man was shot near Berkeley's San Pablo Park Saturday evening, according to police. Dispatchers received several 911 calls at about 6:40 p.m. to report gunshots in the area. Police found a male victim suffering from a bullet wound in the 1300 block of Russell Street, on the south side of the park, according to police. The victim was taken to a hospital, police said.
