The Albany community gathered on August 29 to celebrate “Beth Pollard Day” Elected officials including Loni Hancock, Keith Carson, representatives from Nancy Skinner’s office and current and past Albany City Council members, along with many of her City Manager colleagues and Albany citizens recognized and honored her career in public service.
Guests enjoyed mingling and chatting with old friends while enjoying light fare. The program included proclamations from the State Legislators and Alameda County and many heart felt comments from both friends and coworkers. The evening ended with Kim Denton’s famous carrot cake (yummy!)
