Albany Library Art Display at County Board of Supervisors

Each March, we celebrate Art IS Education at Albany Library. This year, patrons and staff created a Community Collage Quilt with teaching artist, Lili Lanier. Pieces of the quilt were transformed into table lanterns for the library tables at Dinner With Albany. The quilt was recently sent to be displayed with other library art at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and the County Arts Commission. A huge thanks to Violet Juno, Rachel Osajima and other Arts Commission staff for putting our Libraries on display!
