The Albany Community Center foyer was filled with people enjoying the delightful art work of longtime Albany resident Shirley Villadsen.  The opening reception of this show, held on Sunday, April 7, gave viewers an opportunity to appreciate the still life paintings, portraits, self-portraits and landscapes created by Ms. Villadsen who passed away in March 2012.  "At Play in the World of Shrl" will be on display in the Albany Community Center Foyer Art Gallery, 1249 Marin Ave. through July 1 and is certainly worth a visit.
