I'm proud of my little 14-year-old beagle for sticking to a diet and losing about 3 lb. That's more than 10 percent of her weight, which should help with the arthritis in her spine.
We've had some heated disagreements over whether it was time for her to eat. I wish I knew what is going on in her little head.
