McKnight, Barnes and Abbott: Beyond the Head Shots...
Beyond the headshots... are the cheap shots - illustrated! Please, no hard feelings, guys, especially if any of you get elected!
...are the cheap shots! Starting from the right:
1. Tod Abbott. I asked Tod in the Patch if the Chamber of Commerce under his leadership filtered any money upward to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and their unsavory political activities. He never answered me. I'll just have to assume he is in the pocket of Big Business (or maybe Daddy Warbucks or the rich guy from Monopoly).
2. Michael Barnes. When Michael got tired of hearing himself complain, he decided to run for office so we could all share the joy. He rarely fails to mention how tough-minded and pragmatic he is, but, with our citizens so irrational and our politics so dysfunctional, the question becomes: "Are we good enough for Michael Barnes?"

3. Ulan McKnight. Dear Ulan, I apologize. When I look at your picture I just can't help but imagine you in a little clown car.
On the other hand, Peggy Thomsen was nice enough to phone and tell my wife how much she enjoyed my last cartoon, earning my endorsement. These guys should have thought of that!
