Meet Golden State Warriors and Support Your Local Food Bank

Did you know? The number of people the Food Bank serves every week (49,000) is equivalent to two-and-a-half times the attendance of just one Golden State Warriors home game.

This is a fact that our neighbors, the Warriors, are fully aware of -- and they're doing something about it.

This Friday, Oct. 12, Warriors players Richard Jefferson and Carl Landry will host a Food & Fund drive in our warehouse (7900 Edgewater Drive)!

Jefferson and Landry will be meeting and signing autographs from 3 to 4 p.m. for fans who make a minimum donation of $20 or 20 non-perishable food items. Fill a bag of our most-needed items -- canned meats and vegetables, pasta and sauce, peanut butter and low-sugar cereal -- and bring it down to the Food Bank!
